Thief is better than Splinter Cell though, even though it may be an old game, it still is better in terms of stealth.

I hated the Thief games. Too fucking surreal. I mean System Shock 2, no problem, it's story supported robots and super computers.

Battlefield's cool, EA however are fucking gay. My theory is EA makes their own games, (obviously) so they can get money (also obvious, but wait there's more!).

What they do then is buy out perfectly good companies and re-make the games for sequels. The worst sequel for a game I've seen (made by EA of course) is Command & Conquer: Generals. Some would say it's cool, but if you're like me (a C&C fan) then you'd notice it doesn't use the same Game Engine and the Gameplay isn't like Westwood Studios games.

Quite frankly, it's a waste of time. The only games I deem good that they made is the BF series, why? Simply because they made it. If they start the franchise then it's all good and dandy, but if they buy out a company which started it and make sequels then 9 out of 10 times they'll suck major ass.

What I'm afraid of is that they'll buy out good Publishing studios like Eidos Interactive, then make sequels to games they've published/made (whether or not they can).

So just be lucky that Ion Storm isn't still around otherwise they'd probably buy them out and make some shitty Deus Ex rip-off.

DX owns BF any day.

Alright lets get this strait,the fuckin morons in EA are combining Mech Warrior
Comand And Conqure and Dystopia,that doesent fuckin mix at all! that game
is gonna suck do much ass! even though MW,C&C,And Dystopia are all based
in the future theres a god-damn huge amount of difference in the
gameplay,

1.Mech-Warrior is about getting the best weapons and armour on your mech
and kicking the fuck out of what-ever team your against.

2.C&C Has allways been a strategic war-game wich teaches you to effectifly
conserve on resorces and hitting certain points in a enemy's base.
and is an all around blast to play,one of my favorite series.

3.Dystopia is a suped up future-istic version of Counter-Strike its all about
team-work,hacking turrets.Getting suits of armour and shit,and then there's
the kick ass part of the whole cyber-space you can go on,wich i might say
is very very very very fun.

None of this shit mixes,thats 100% proove that EA has no fuckin clue
what the hell there doing, there the dumbest of dumb,i havent seen a
single good game from them when they take games from a different
publisher,although when they make games them-selfs its ok,like
LOTR: BFME I & II that rocks my socks,but besides that EA should just
stick with making their own instead of buying out publishers.

I consider myself the biggest C&C fan ever. Westwood were going places, EA bought them out, hell I hate them for it. I do however disagree with you. We have EA to thank for the Battle For Middle Earth games, which uses the Generals engine (not sure about 2)

I had a scare recently when I discovered EA held the majority of right on the System Shock series, thankfully another company has stepped in and has kindly taken EA's grasp of it and began making a "spiritual" succesor to my most favourite game ever, click here

Mechwarrior is about finding the right balance between armour, speed, weaponry (power/type/config), and other extra abilities, but really, its about piloting big robot dudes and blasting peoples legs until they say "y rifels"

Well i havent played Mech Warrior in a long time and i dont have a small
screen im just an arse and love to type like this when i am making a larger
than normal post,and im really judgmental so i give a whole view from a
trailer but judging from how i judged other games,im probly gonna hate it
till it comes out then ill love it

I have seen the screens and tbh it doesn't look that great, I amn't into the whole futuristic, sc-fi thing.
I would choose battlefield 2 over this.

Hopefully battlefield 2 won't disappear because of this, like the multiplayer, it would be a great shame.

Anyone played it yet? Is it worth buying, or is it a disappointment compared to Battlefield 2 etc.?

I dunno why some of u are complaining about it, I think this game is awesome

right now these are my favorites of it:
-favorite side = PAC
-favorite gun = Krylov FA37 AR
-favorite vehicle = prolly the PAC walker
-favorite game mode = depends on what I feel like doing that day
-favorite map = also depends
-and I like the theme/plot of it 2

It looks a great game, but sadly, i brought it... And my shitty Nivida GeForce MX 440 SE can't handle it.... So.... I'm gonna buy the new GeForce card... ($300)
