Ok, so blow me theres an ancient old topic about this game, but I completed it last weekend, its pretty ownage, especially the extra eliminations and showdown modes.

Anyway, can someone (most likely Derek) tell me what I need exactly to get the bugger online and what options of gameplay there are and shit?

And the other thing, Jay experienced some serious "FU BEN" action in the RPD building, courtesy of a my girlfriends Webcam lollage.

I hooked up the webcam to view my gf's screen and he watched me play "Desperate Times" (RPD scenario) and go attempt to kill Ben Bertolucci with Cowboy Kevin

Well, for online, you need a connection (most likely your own internet connection if it is cable.) It must be broadband, and you can hook up the cables to the Network Adapter on the back of the PS2 if you have one. If you don't, then you can't play. Once you've done this, I'll tell you more

Network is all good since we have a PS2 Slimline, network connection is also good

Problem, dont you need a code or cd or something from purchasing a network adapter from the old PS2's?

The NetAdapter comes with a CD for establishing a connection using it. But, you can make your own connection in REOF2, but I recommend the CD.

well, the plan is, the missus (who owns the ps2 slimline) is gonna be back home from Uni around next weekend, if i go down hers next weekend i will probably try it out without the CD, im capable enough and i have looked at most of the settings, given that using Automatic features works its all good

None the less, I can borrow my brothers old ps2, and then purchase a network adapter with the CD, however that wont be for probably another month so yeah, if i am on soonish, itll be next weekend or the weekend after

I would recommend teh normal PS2, since the SlimLine has been known to experience ... problems ... with the adapter. But, you can try it out yourself.

I was thinking, wouldnt it be great if they made a "Shaun of the Dead" Scenario!

So the objective would be to get to the winchester pub etc

For characters;

Shaun(Main character) - Kevin: instead of the .45, shaun has a Cricket Bat (indestructable), he also is the best shooter with the Winchester rifle (mimicking the potshot ability)

Ed(main characters best mate) - Mark: instead of Marks handgun, the shovel, he has full swing and hes kinda "big" like Mark

Liz(main characters girlfriend) - Alyssa: can shoot just as well as Shaun, and has lockpick etc

Dianne(Liz's best friend) - Yoko: can carry twice as much

David(Dianne's Boyfriend) - Jim: pretty much goes around saying his life is shit ROFL

Barbara(Shauns mom) - Cindy: Has herbcase (handbag lol)

Pete(Shaun/Ed's flatmate) - David: Instead of wrenches throws LP records

Phillip(Shauns stepdad) - George, has the mixing kit an shit

Ok, played my first online game of RE file 2 today, was ok bar the fact that I played with french noobs who were actually worse than the AIPC's

Since it was on my gf's slimline, shes all hooked up and connected, just need to get my ps2 an adapter and a 2nd hand copy of file 2 and away me and her go

So yeah, who can be up for a banta?

Very hard is just as it is, "very hard", on single player. On online, it's actually easier with smarter friends. Besides, I beat showdown 3 two or three times. You should be the black stick figure, Mr. Black!

Lol, we can do End of the Road vh, or any scenario. I prefer vh over others, but my favorite is SH3 with hard difficulty.
