unzip your Xcom3 file to wherever, but for default sake, C:\xcom3

run Dosbox

type without quotes;

"mount c C:\xcom3" <--- C:\xcom3 being where you installed said game

it should say;

z:\

so

type this

C:

now it should say;

C:\

type;

dir

should come with a list of programs, one should be something like;

XCOMAPOC EXE

just type this, no quotes;

"XCOMAPOC"

and voila

use ctrl + f11 to slow down if it seems to be running too fast, ctrl + f12 to speed it up

and alt + enter to full screen or window the dos program

Man, you guys aren't going back far enough, I still remember playing X Com Ufo Defense on my p1 and the graphics were more pixelated.

It was an enjoyable game for it's time.
