I simply love the last levels, since there are harder enemies, and you can do better moves :).

How much do I love this game?

I still have my saved games for it, from over 3 years ago, in the hope one day I will hire it and finish it.

If you desire, I can upload the CD, then you simply install it, and replace the .exe with a crack.

Oni > Mario.

Oni is playable on all platforms, since Oni simply owns. And it's quite funny, we 3 are the only ones who have played Oni on this forum board =)

Oni needs a gamepad though. :(

It just wouldn't be right... like playing FFIX using the keyboard. :?

Ever notice how some anime chracters seem to have huge eyes and tiny mouths? What's with that?

Anyway: Good game, I've DL'ed it off of the net, but I've not gotten very far into it... the DL'ed version had loads of stuff missing...

It's meant to be that way.

I don't understand why, but the big eyes just fit...
(I'm sure there's a reason burried deep in our nature.)

Edit: Wikie pedia:

While different titles and different artists have their own unique artistic styles, many stylistic elements have become common to the point that they are described as being definitive of anime in general, and have been given names of their own. A common style is the large eyes style drawn on many anime characters, credited to the influence of Osamu Tezuka, who was inspired by the exaggerated features of American cartoon characters such as Betty Boop and Mickey Mouse and from Disney's Bambi. Tezuka found that large eyes style allowed his characters to show emotions expressions distinctly. Cultural anthropologist Matt Thorn argues that Japanese animators and audiences do not perceive such stylized eyes as inherently more or less foreign. [1] When Tezuka began drawing Ribbon no Kishi, the first manga specifically targeted at young girls, Tezuka further exaggerated the size of the characters' eyes. Indeed, through Ribbon no Kishi, Tezuka set a stylistic template that later shōjo artists tended to follow. Another variation of this style is "chibi" or "super deformed"; which usually feature huge eyes, an enlarged head, and small body.

Another view is that large eyes tend to be less intimidating, and more innocent.
(And thus baddies have small eyes.)

Thats just how the typical anime tends to be.
