IGN Huxley preview

Lately many of you have seen me yapping on about Huxley and I bet you're pretty sick of it. So here are my final two cents on the subject....

This is number 1 on my wish list along with Half Life 2: Episode 2, Halo Wars, Halo 3 (yes I do want Halo), Bioshock, Huxley, APB, Assassin’s Creed, Unreal Tournament 3, SKATE, 2 Days To Vegas/ GTA 4.

What is it about?, it looks like a crazy neo-communist game.

Lol if only that were true. It's about the future (which is of course apocalyptic) in which the Earth's population has been divided into different races because of these things called Lunarites mutated them. The races are Alternatives ("freaks), Sapiens (normal) and Hybrid (A.I sort of scavenger race).

It is an MMOFPS and can hold 5000 players a city, 200 in a single match, Gunships, Jeeps, Boats, Cars and so on can be driveable. If you go into the social city you can trade equipment, buy new and better weapons, armour and appearances.

The leveling system is laid out so the first 10 levels are about preferences such as light armour, medium or heavy and assault rifles or miniguns and rocketlaunchers or sniper rifles and pistols. The rest of the time in levels you are going into depth for that particular preference. Seriously, it is majorly customisable and has thousands of quests, squad quests, driving and I could go on all day.

Is PVP random or controled? (by using flags if you want to be hit etc)

Well, from what I understand I think the battles aim to be fair in the terms that level 10's will face others around the same level but not exactly sure but it does have Hybrids on PvP also.

Just imagine UT sort of deathmatch but with bigger maps, three-sided fights and more players.

how does the mmo element come into the matches of 100v100, with a city and etc? and also will we have a monthly subscription?
