The beta, sorry to say, looks just like Halo 2 but with different maps, man cannons, new vehicles and a portable gravity lift.

Of course its going to look like Halo 2, lol wtf, and after watching the proper beta vid it suppasses it.

Actually I received a message on bungie.net They sent me a 25 letter code to activate the halo 3 beta early. The game is bad ass. It looks nothing like halo 2. The grenade throwing is more accurate, the assault rifle is more accurate and a bit more powerful, everything is at a slant as if you were actually looking through the master chiefs visor, and little lines on the visor go up and down forming little squares making it look like a grid as you spawn. but when you begin to run around for a bit it goes away. The explosions are VERY realistic and the mud and water effects are awesome. If you think the mud and water would splash in the same place everytime think again its all at random. And to think its still far from complete.

What I mean is the melee attacks are the same, weapons reload in the same way but thank GOD there isn't a sword for noobs to "earn" kills.

Here I found this link to a halo 3 beta gameplay video for you. and no it isn't anything like the "leaked" info you see over the internet. This here is the real deal. Keep in mind though that this video is just a tad bit older then the version we play. And their is debug text on the screen. other then that the gameplay and everything els is nice. enjoy everyone.

I couldnt give a fuck about it to be honest, mainly because I dont have Crackdown. No point in splashing out like 40 quid on a beta that looks like Halo 2 & a shit game.

It doesn't really look nothing like halo 2. Did you even watch the video that I posted?

Nope.

I've seen a video of it, looks pretty good. They were messing around on the quads with a grav lift.

Times like this, I love the fact I make stupid decisions about buying games.

We've not had it in yet.

Technically, we can't sell a game before its release date, as the barcode goes through the system to head office, and a company can tell every other company and they can then fine us a LOT (and me personally). Thats technically though.

I get to play games before they get released, things like Gears of War and stuff I got a copy to play almost a week beforehand, it'll be like that with Halo3 eventually.

Ah ok then, fuck that! lol I'm gonna get a job at Game and get fired when Forza2 comes in, and then a copy will go missing, I won't steal James one.
