Xbox Live 360 port forwarding

can anyone help me with this? i am having troubles with this and i have no idea what to do. the only problem now i am having is my NAT being strict whenever i test it. i have already set a static IP on the system.

You shouldn't need to set a static IP for it. As the topic title suggests, find out what ports the console uses, and forward them through your router to your LAN ip address.

Better hope your Xbox isn't modded.

THey have updated the servers they now have a protocol that will terminate your live account if it detects that you have a modded xbox. :P

You have to ring up your ISP, and yeh as the guy above said, better not be modded.

^It doesn't terminate your live account, it disables you from accessing Live from that console.

brand new xbox. no mods, so i dont have to worry about that.

anywayz, how do i forward it through my router?

Thats what I did, I contacted my ISP and they opened the port and I got access literally straight away.

looks like there is nothing i can do with this router. i just get into games for like 5 minutes or less, then my router just switches off. that was only call of duty 3, now i cant get into any games on xbox live. damn this comcast router.

If yours is a wired connection, see LAN settings and set your internet to a shared connection.
