I downloaded Quake 4 Demo yesterday because I really missed just running up to someone and nailing them in the head.
Just so you all know, this game is the be-all-end-all of hardcore FPS's (Don't tell me about BF2\2142, Or Counter Strike as they do not count for this genre.)
Everything about it is fantastic. I can see myself torrenting this literally today, not putting it off for the next 4 months.
Old, slightly. Fantastic? FUCK YES.
I encourage you all to buy it.
The next game to do this well will obviously be UT3. when its done.

Its a okay game, Quake have always been dominators in the MP genre for fun, however Quake 4 isn't all that online, HOWEVER Quake: Enemy Territories will be booming.

I see Quake: Enemy Territories being another Battlefield 2. Even though they denied DirectX 10. Something I could not get an idea of was the constant nuke strikes in the trailers.

Considering that Quake 4 is the exact same game with one new gun, the same old maps, (Fragging Yard etc), with only a few new additions, I have no idea what you are talking about.
