It is not constructive because you were disproving a generally accepted scientific fact — that autism is a disease (seeing you called it an excuse) — without backing it up. Of course your post is logical, but the first assertion is not backed up by the rest of post: the idea that it might be more often mistakenly diagnosed nowadays, does not make autism less of a disease.
