Forum upgrade

Hi guys,

We're thinking of giving this forum an upgrade to phpBB3 and a new theme (as the current one is incompatible with phpBB2 and is also outdated/not responsive).

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see some screenshots of how our "work in progress" looks so far. This theme is not a definite choice, should you all dislike it completely, then we can always pick a different theme.

What do you think? Any comments, or suggestions while we're at it?

I quite like it, looks a lot smoother. Is there any chance we can get a dark theme replacement at some point, too? Gonna miss mah c3s!

Definitely! I'm currently also using c3s, so a greyish/dark theme is indeed planned.

am I the only one who prefers phpBB2, atleast look-wise? If that theme can be changed, then sure awesome!
but if it's gonna be like.. say, avatars on the right side.. even with theme change, then NOPE.

It's not really darker though (as the background is the same color).

That darker grey theme is looking pretty good. Personally I'd prefer an option for left/right avatars, largely because I'm used to the left. Personal preference though, so I don't mind overall.

I managed to implement the option for left/right avatars, so you're all in luck! As for the darker theme, I'm not sure if it will be implemented upon upgrade, it will probably come in the week after.

Awesome, Thanks! Yeah although the very grey theme doesn't look AS classy as the blue and white, it's definitely easier on the eyes (for some of us at least )
