We didnt change servers yet, just waiting till the domain is gonna be moved. I hope it will not take long.

Anyway, files uploaded now will not appear when moved.

we transferred everything except some parts of domain
say thank you to Darren for buying a server for us, to Jim Bowen who managed to do the database transfer, to Mr. X for advice, to me dunno why, to James for moral support and to Nanyo from our new hoster support.
I feel very tired and going to shorten my day in Fallout 2 with mods

Tomorrow each user on forum gets 50 megs disk space for attachments.
Also i finished school today and i have 3 months of holidays. Probably, the last proper summer holidays in my life.

Yes, And say a big thank you to Dae, for actually getting these forums back online. Well done mate. Also, I have now been made forum admin, some people may be envied to hear that but i don't care. Also, expect new things coming soon, like our own centralised chat, as well as the 50mb attachment quota.

By the way guys, sorry again about the wait, but trust us, it was worth the wait, we have no shit hoster anymore, hoster who can't control hacker attacks and their virus ridden servers. Welcome back guys.

Erm, slight problem.

Rachel just contacted me there on MSN, telling me that she couldn't access the forum since the change of server. She is getting a 404: Forbidden error for all dxalpha.com domains.

Any suggestions?

The old domain name is 'slowly' filtering through to different ISP's it seems, but at the mo www.dxalpha.com/forum seems to work. If you give me a min i'll setup a redirect so www.dxalpha.com goes straight to the forum.
