I may be wrong, but I think Russian hackers realised that every normal forum has this image (our forum has it too) and bots cannot pass it, so they register on every forum manually and after that they connect their programs to existing account, expecting that admin won't delete them.
There is no solution at the moment against it. I recommend all admins of the forum after spotting a bot to delete his account immediately.
On my PlanetDeusEx.ru it's a burning issue, because every night bots create dozens of topics.

Damn, that must suck.

They dont all use the same range...

SOme ppl have teh same ip as me :O
