However, if you think it's enough of a forum like Project 2027, please write a private message to me and tell me about a project you'd like to host.
Advantages:

+ your own forum, where you're a moderator
+ no need to configure and setup anything — power of our modified and safe phpBB in your hands (not to mention daily backups!)
+ unlimited subforums
+ customizable permissions, e.g. private forum for your crew
+ your own group if needed

Also I might consider allowing to use a custom design theme (and logo) only for your place.
Disadvantages:
— if your project sucks, then your inquiry will be denied
— you won't have an ability to enjoy wonderful process of tuning a fresh phpBB (just like I did)
— you can't post porn on it
