Fantastic points.

But... Aquilani is a ball winner, he just doesn't hard tackle.

Alberto Aquilani is not a midfielder. He is an artist and a ball winner.

Aquilani is a awesome player. Unfortunetly, he will leave for Milan, as when he plays 21 games, he is allowed to join them for something shite like £8million :(

James, you have man love for Aquilani and Aidan, something you haven't told anyone yet? :p

The problem was that he was injured when he joined Liverpool, so when he did return we didn't give him enough time to find his feet in a tough league, in a diferent country etc. He was then dropped from the team, crushing his confidence.

I don't see the problem.

The only problem is that he doesn't like the UK, not Liverpool or the EPL.

I don't understand, i actually thought in the few times he played for us , he looked the part, especially against Madrid in the Europa League Semi!

Aquilani would be a great option. Though I doubt he'd have much heart to play for the club... If he could be recalled, and were to give it his 100%, that'd be amazing. Don't see it happening though.

Jay Spearing i reckon will be the man to fill the void , this dosn't worry me like it used to as the more games Spearing played last season the more i was convinced he could do a job for us, he was awesome against Arsenal last year even tho he gave away the pen, the question i ask is tho, will Kenny be buying in some reinforcements in Jan?

All away games in the Premier League are tough so its natural to be slightly worried, young Spearing will do a job tho!

I'll be very worried until he is back fit, or Stevie returns (where he'll probs play the Lucas role).

No Maxi :(

:( :( :(

Red card ruined stuff for us. Fulham had allot more time on the ball than teams usually get against Liverpool.

United was in one of the worst Champions League groups i've ever seen and they still couldn't qualify, shocking quality.

City had an excuse, they were in a very tough group

There's 14 days to appeal, probably will considering the shocked reaction from LFC and Suarez.

"LFC considers racism in any form to be unacceptable - without compromise. It is our strong held belief, having gone over the facts of the case, that Luis Suarez did not commit any racist act. It is also our opinion that the accusation by this particular player was not credible - certainly no more credible than his prior unfounded accusations.

It is key to note that Patrice Evra himself in his written statement in this case said 'I don't think that Luis Suarez is racist'. The FA in their opening remarks accepted that Luis Suarez was not racist."

This is what stood out most to me, Evra doesn't think he's racist, FA doesn't think he's racist, Suarez says it's a misunderstanding BOOM 8 match ban.

The fine is nothing to talk about, 3 day salary or some shit lol

He actually had a good game, but he was poor in front of the goal. Gerrard set him up with a amazing ball, but his touch was woeful :(

I have read like 60% of the FA's statement about Suarez, and it's fair to say that the ban was unfair, and it was Evra's word against Suarez'.

Also, their statement was flawed, such as:

"Mr Dowd then left the Liverpool dressing room and went back to the referee's room. Moments later, Mr Dalglish came into the referee's dressing room. Mr Dalglish was on his own. Mr Marriner asked Mr Dalglish why Mr Suarez was not with him. Mr Dalglish said that he had not brought him because Mr Suarez does not speak English. Mr Marriner explained to Mr Dalglish what had been reported to him by Sir Alex and Mr Evra. Mr Marriner said in his witness statement that Mr Evra had told him that Mr Suarez had said to him "I don't talk to you because you *******", although Mr Dalglish told us that he did not remember the referee saying that to him. Since Mr Suarez accepted Mr. Marriner's witness statement, we accept Mr Marriner's evidence that he said this to Mr Dalglish."

which is stupid, because Suarez wasn't there to accept the statement.

They used a linguist expert. THis expert was from the university of MANCHESTER

http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary ... ssion.ashx

Read it for yourself to see how stupid it is.
