I watched Saw III yesterday, not scary in the least. Sure, there was pretty gruesome moments in the film, but that was about it, a lot of violence but nothing else.

The story went all queer with comments on forgiveness and people not loving life enough, then playing games with people's minds without them knowing, it was annoying more so then enjoyable. Very predictable too, a very predictable horrible film = shite.

Gruesome has replaced scary. Guts over ghouls. Sucks.

The Departed is awesome, if a choice between SawIII or The Departed, definitely see The Departed.

It was such a good film, not only for it's constant Irish reference, but the acting is quite good also, for one Di Caprio isn't a fag. Jack Nicholas makes the film though(as usual), without him in it, probably wouldn't be as good

Saw III - decent watch still but if you've seen one, you've seen em all. i'd say it was the goriest of the 3 though. 6/10

Borat - piss funny. 1 scene in particular could possibly be the most outrageous and daring piece of cinematic film i have ever seen. those who have seen it will know which bit i am talking about. however, i thought there wasnt enough improvised interview bits (which led me to find borat the funniest character from sacha's tv show) and too much staged bits. 8/10

next up, The Guardian, Little Children or Casino Royale.

Seen The Prestige. Pretty good, great acting from Christian Bale (as always). Loads of twists to keep you interested.

I love the first Battle Royale.

I'll get my brother to hook me up with the BRII DVD so I can watch it all when I'm not semi-comatosed.

Watched Casino Royale last night. First of like to point out that i've NEVER seen a bigger queue for a film ever. We intended to go for 8:30 showing, we got there at 8:10 which is i'd say is about right for an average film on release. They were queueing for it out of the door! We decided to get tkts for the 9:30 showing. Arrived at 9 to queue and still only got about middle in the queue.

The film itself, even though i'm not really a bond fan myself, I thought was fantastic. And Daniel Craig was the business in the role. Miles better than the smarmy, shit actor that is Pierce Brosnan. Great action scenes, nicely built suspense and great acting in the lead role and from the bad guy.

9/10

I saw Casino Royale today, I liked it, thought some parts were quite funny, even if unintentional. Daniel Craig was good, he played the heartless ego machine very well.

I heard that in England they took away the torture scene to bring down the rating?

I saw Casino Royale today too. I missed alot of the plot because the person next to me was talking constantly about strange things. It looked pretty good, I look forward to the next time I watch it when I have a chance to actually follow the plot without hearing whispers of "Hes had too many dicks down his throat" from my left. Film seemed alot less action-centric than pervious Bonds.

I saw Casino Royale, it reminded me a lot of Ghost in the Shell series;

I don't get what the fuck the people are talking about, but the action was awesome!

Nope, the torture scene was there. The funniest part of the film to be fair.

Starter For Ten - Not bad, coming-of-age kinda thing. Few funny moments but thats about it. 6/10

Jackass 2 - Loved it. Far better than the first imo. Funnier, braver, more outrageous, more gross. 9/10

Had to make one hell of a hard decision yesterday, The Pick of Destiny or Jackass 2.

Ended up going with TOD, although I really wish I went to see Jackass 2. Don't get me wrong, TOD was extremly enjoyable and hilarious... but I had hoped for so much more.
