The bands I listened to have lost their ways and are becoming stale. Can anyone recommend me a metal-genre band? They have to have a fresh taste to each song and """gentle""" on the ears, case in point: no death or black metal (I'm not saying the genre is crap, I just don't like it).

Please! I have to listen to friggin' Genesis everyday and I want something to drown it out! I'm begging you!

Yeah, that's a tiny bit extreme. The guitar and bass kicks arse but the vocals are deathyish.

Dog Day Sunrise is a cover, that would be like saying listen to Cars by Fear Factory, it's a one off song nothing like any of their music.
