Gladiators

Postby Tantalus » Sun May 11, 08 7:16 pm

Well, just finished watching the resurrection of Gladiators (non-American). Five main observations:

1. Safer than before, the Eliminator is squeezed in to a pathetic studio. the challenges are now surrounded by a pool rather than mats.

2. Points don't mean shit because all seconds given are immediately shed during the swimming.

3. I'm surprised the women don't have chest hair.

4. Oblivion is a spec of dirt compared the Wolf.

5. The referee has been kept classic.

Overall it's entertaining but in more of an ironic way. The first contestants were a joke in all events. However the women had some skills at Powerball.

Did anyone else bother watching?
