The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS?!

Created by Mark "Thurop" Van Orman, Flapjack is an optimistic cartoon set a grim world. It is directed at children and adults with nostalgia for older cartoons. The art is totally in direct clashing of itself so many times that is truly is something special, the comedy is very mature and definitely for adults while the lolrandomness advertises itself to children.

The characters involve the title character Flapjack, a cute naive and happy child wearing a sailor outfit. Captain K'nuckles, an odd pirate with so many bizzare takes on the usual pirate stereotypes. Oh and who can forget their ship, Bubbie, a whale with a token black woman accent who is really the only sane member of the crew.

Seriously, how can I make it sound better, oh the involvement of the guy behind ADVENTURE TIME, Pendleton Ward!

Anyway heres the opening:

It's for teenagers mostly.

Seen the episode about the mad inventor guy who uses child labor as a workforce for everything?
Now THAT'S adult.
