Very interesting
I think what's more phenomenal is that certain media (most notably Fight Club) has recently sprung up in what seems to be an apparent uneasiness within men in the past 10-20 years
Men have lost their right to chivalry
Homosexual men are almost deemed better than straight in the eyes of a woman
Men are expected to show more emotion, and yet ridiculed if we don't or in a lot of cases, if we do
Women are integrating themselves more within the masculine domain, like Ladettes for example
The generalised AND media treatment of men and women, particularly the portrayal of stereotypes damages the groups and their roles and functions

That's one of the only tricky points, because where it is funny to see Justin get hit in the vagina, it also does make you think
