Best car chase in a movie

Postby MrBlackDX » Sat Oct 25, 08 1:17 pm

Thought I would copy Derek, because it took me ages to think of a shootout scene when RONIN was screaming at me for car chase

What's your favourite car chase scene in a movie, I would be surprised if one person doesn't mention the French Connection

For me it's Ronin, the setup scene, where they steal the case, the whole thing was planned beautifully and the actors execution was immense

No...I fucking eat up Apatow movies but this one has been evading me.

AND I KNOW IT WOULD BE INCREDIBLY IMMORAL TO ASK YOU FOR A GOOD LINK. BESIDES THE FACT THAT IT IS AGAINST THE FORUM RULES. BUT IF I WAS TO ASK FOR SUCH A THING, I'D ASK YOU TO SEND ME ONE OVER MSN.

THERE'S NO PROPER RIP YET AS IT'S STILL IN THE CINEMAS.
I SUGGEST YOU WASTE SOME MONEY ON CINEMA TICKET ETC
There's DVDSCR version though: look it up on mininova, over 7000 seeders, it's said to be good quality

Sheer vehicular excellence, I bought Enter the Matrix just to play it.

I simply LOVE that one terminal-like thingy on ETM.

It makes the game worth playing over and over again, and I especially love that long hallway of doors.

'Gone in Sixty Seconds' the ORIGINAL movie made back in the 1974 by H.B Halicki, he was also known as the 'Car Crash King'.

For a classic car chase with a brilliant twist at the end youve got to see this movie. The movie is 94 mins and around 45mins of this movie is one long car chase.

Try and make a movie like that now and it would be near impossible in the public arena.

Heheh Blues Brothers, another classic.

Matrix was great and they had created thier own highway so all the vehicles were part of the crew.

The Bourne Ultimatum had a fast paced car chase, man he was mad as a hatter driving the cop car.

Havent yet seen Ronin.
