... is an awesome movie. Even though I still think that the Dark Knight is the movie of the year but Slumdog totally deserved those academy awards.

A Mumbai teen who grew up in the slums, becomes a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" He is arrested under suspicion of cheating, and while being interrogated, events from his life history are shown which explain why he knows the answers.

Watched the screener due to all the hype around it.
It's about the struggles of life that 2 brothers endure, while one becomes engulfed in money and material things, one tries to live the earnest life while loving a girl he grew up with.
Culminates through the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and told through flashbacks that help to understand the reason behind being able to answer all the questions.
I think that song appears near the end.

Haven't seen it. I first thought it was just someone who went on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. End of, but I've heard A LOT of praise about it.

It reminded me of Puccini's Turandot if anyone knows that. I've seen it in theatre a couple years ago.
