Borat was banned in Kazakhstan, not Ukraine.

I don't see the appeal in Borat, Bruno, etc...

I thought Borat was going to be funny, but the reality/documentary style comedy was far from being as such.

The comedy “Bruno,” starring British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, scheduled to premiere in Ukrainian cinemas on July 23, will not be shown to Ukrainians.

...

The movie “Borat: Cultural Leanings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” (2006) was a great box-office hit worldwide, but was neither shown in Ukrainian theaters. However, it wasn’t officially banned.

Right now I prefer Brüno out of the three characters but I remember I loved Ali G when I first saw it.

Haha watched it on the computer...

Overall, Borat and AliG where better than Brüno, but it was still hilarious.
