So I'll go far enough to say you can still feel your nuts, but why would you call a book written right around the second World War as modern literature?

It's not modern as in the last decade or so. It's still within a lifetime, therefore still contemporary. Why is it called "modern classical", when it's from roughly 1900-2000?

Lord of the rings was written long ago. The stories were actually bedtime stories for Tolken's Son, when he decided to write a book (which later turned into books) about them.

Tolken fought in the first World War and wrote the book about the second World War.

Where the wild things are

The first time I saw the trailer I was quite annoyed...

That ridiculous clothing the kid has, and the fact that the heads of those monkeys are CGI while the rest of their body is dress makes me want to eat a lamp.
What I hate the most about this movie is that actually it might be good.

Another movie of which trailer and poster pissed me off big time on first sight;
