Me too, classic Pixar.

I've downloaded Gran Torino long long ago but haven't bothered to see it yet, even though I know it must be awesome

:/ I still need to see both. From what I've heard, they're both excellent.

Yes, but does Up have gun crime and live action footage?
No.
So that's good enough for Pixar!

Also, watch it in 3D, it's more than just a gimmick now.

Yeah, got that idea. But life is so much simpler at face value. 8)

Carl Fredricksen: This is crazy. I finally meet my childhood hero and he's trying to kill us. What a joke.

Dug: Hey, I know a joke! A squirrel walks up to a tree and says, "I forgot to store acorns for the winter and now I am dead." Ha! It is funny because the squirrel gets dead.

I liked Up, but I can't get into Eastwood. I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby yet but I saw Gran Torino and Bloodwork, didn't like either of them. He tries too hard to be a badass. It's like I'm watching an aging Steven Seagal.

Up is an amazing film, the first 20 minutes of that film are so heart breaking it's unreal. I enjoyed Gran Torino too, as it seemed to be a great acting send off to Eastwood. The ending in particular (if you didn't have it ruined for you) is pretty good in my opinion.

I hated the way he was making his voice all deep. I could tell he was forcing it. Like a towering silhouette of an already large possum, whose shadow has become so large you can't even appreciate it enough to be intimidated.

In short; I always thought Eastwood was overrated, even in the guinea westerns.
