Some demo tracks of mine

Postby Dex » Thu Mar 18, 10 11:42 pm

http://soundcloud.com/stefbl96/sets - A set of 22 song demos by me

Instrumental, no vocals.

Recommended:

3. Distant Spell
4. China Love
11. Specimens
12. Intro
14. A Tone Of A Warm Feeling
16. Trains
19. Jelly Ride
20. Pump
21. Metaphor Morphine
22. Open
... but that doesn't stop you from listening to them all.

Everything up to 12. Intro I'd consider "earlier work".

Made in FL Studio 9

3rd party VSTis: reFX Nexus, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, MusicLab RealGuitar, MusicLab RealStrat, Broomstick Bass, Acoustica Pianissimo, Toontrack EZ Drummer, Native Instruments Battery 3

USB/MIDI Keyboard: AKAI MPK49

Any comments, suggestions, unbiased criticism would be appreciated.

It's taken well over a month or two (1,5 mbps yee).

You're real good at 3D art, so I understand you need to focus on it more. Good luck with it :3

I still dabble from time to time in FL Studio though. Have they made a newer version past 8 yet?

There are some new synths and changes in current ones, but I don't really bother checking them out, since I use mostly my 6235235 of 3rdparty VSTis.

There's also a pretty cool new collection of samples.
Interface is beautiful.

That is all.

3rd party vstis are always the way to go.. I usually always go for omnisphere when working with a chord you want to stand out in your song.
