sorry i only listen to good rap (not anyone from NWA who wasnt from the hood see eazy e)

Every biography of NWA I've ever read said that the five rappers were childhood friends in Compton.

It wasn't until CB4 came out that it was questioned.

Don't get me wrong James, music is the most debateable topic ever other than the middle east, and everyone has their own taste. And it's always good to see someone who spends all their time listening to johnny cash come out and say they appreciate rap.

Eazy e was also fucking quality, and no disrespect to him.

But i don't know anyone who says they listen to 'real rap' and then says the eazy e was the only good member of NWA. It's frustrating when people question Dre and ice cube and forget that Dre has behind the scene of many of the greatest rap albums of all time, and Ice cube wrote half of eazy e's lyrics.

also i dont like johnny cash that much, it's only that common because it has a high chance to appear in my shuffle due to the amount of volume of johnny cash in my library.

Eazy-E was boss. Ice Cube wasn't even from Compton? (New York amirite?) Dr.Dre was in World Class Wreckin' Cru before NWA wearing lipstick.

Don't have much to say about Yella, but as I said, MC Ren was alright.

As far Dr.Dre being behind the scenes for many great albums, Dr.Dre is a great producer. That's it.
And Ice Cube wrote Boyz N Tha Hood lyrics for Eazy-E and probably most of his first album, which was most succesful, because they split after that, so naturally the fan base splitted aswell.
Pretty sure Eazy-E wrote much of his own material after that.

YESSS. Autistic spelling for the win.

I actually prefer the censored version's record quality, I mean honestly. Also was weird for him to do the entire song again (altered lyrics etc).

LOL @ the censored asses.
Yeah it's good, except for the bit in the beginning with the motherfuck dre motherfuck snoop motherfuck deathrow censored, it's annoying.

You didn't rate any of the songs on 2001 Masta?

And yeah ice cube was from LA

Not denying eazy e's quality, but ice cube and dre have done a lot a lot alot for rap and are still doing a lot for rap

getme

Without Eazy-E no NWA no Ice Cube no Dr.Dre (like we know them now anyway)

Are you talking about the Chronic 2001? 'cause yeah, it's a good album. I lol'd though cause when Dre was on NWA - Express Yourself going all "I dont smoke weed cause its known to give a brother braindamage, and braindamage on the mic manages nothing but making a sucker and you equal" LOL.

Nevertheless I'm still a bit excited about his upcoming album, Detox, if it's ever going to be finished.
