Pantera is on and off for me, love some of their grooves but some of them are just EUGH.

Zakk Wylde is one of the most overrated players/song-writers of this generation.

Wylde does over-use pinch harmonics and squeals but that doesnt make him any less technical than what he is, even with those repetitive elements the guy writes absolutely amazing music, take a listen to "Hangover Music Vol IV" and his 2 solo albums before black label formed, absolutely amazing, i cant fault his repetitiveness of the pinch harmonics because he does it better than anybody

Metallica have been shit since 1991, but to be fair i've seen them twice since the release of death magnetic and they have erased most of the black album and pretty much all 1990's material from their sets, and they play their old stuff flawlessly still, so as a band they havent died, maybe in terms of making a brilliant album they have.
