Post music that means something to you, has affected your life even in some way or has moved you somewhat!

Go forth children!

Lighthouse Family as a whole. <3

Used to fall asleep to them as a child, defined days in the sun for me.

My girlfriend's song. Says it all. Mopey shit ensues.

Nevermore's Chances Three because it reminds me life CAN be reduced to something terrifyingly short, so ACT!

Again, another childhood song. Such beautiful melodies.

More to come, believe me.

I'll edit this post in the morning when I boot up my good computer.

Music makes me melodically emotional. Words in songs have no effect on me. This is why I listen to electronic music. Most of these songs are soft, and touching.

My List for now..

ATB - Enigmatic Encounter
//I Basically live in a forest, and was listening to this song while riding my bike in the rain. It was a cloudy day, and I was drenched afterwards, covered in mud. Went back home, listened to this song in the shower, and for the rest of the day.

Alexisonfire - Boiled Frogs
//Back when I was around 14. Life at my end was quite tough. It was autumn. Went deep into this forest with gigantic trees. It was quiet and desolate. I cried here.

ATB - Sunset Girl
//Back about 3 years ago, I came across this area of a beach. It was absolutely amazing. The sunset was perfect. I was the only one there, I was walking into the clean transparent water listening to this song. Again, it made me cry.

Mistabishi - View From Nowhere
//This one is quite odd. The artist himself even stated in an interview that he does not remember making this song. This song has an amazing atmosphere to it. I listen to it on bright sunny days when I parkour, or If I feel in the mood. The environment has to be clean and ufopic though.

Mistabishi - The Light's Really Bad
//Again, ufopic parkour music that should only be played in a clean environment. Very surreal.

Ludacris - Nasty Girl
//A depressing time in my life. Lyrics are dumb as shit, but the melody and piano completely stole my emotion.

The Thrillseekers - Waiting (Here For You)
//Last summer when I went to South Carolina (myrtle beach), I played this walking along the beach at night, with the city strip all lit up. This is also the night I banged this girl on the emergency exit stairwell of my hotel. Sketchy as hell (but it was awesome).

I like one song, simply for its turntablism, even though it should be entirely accredited to Joe Hahn

Lack of Chester's emotive manchild vocals is always a good thing too

The first time I heard of them was from my 31 year old teacher in grade 6 who enjoyed cranking it in the background whilst we worked.

He was also 6'9" and used to play in the CFL. Quite intelligent though. He was an interesting fellow.

A good friend of mine told a similar story with "Scissor Sisters - I don't feel like dancing" instead of LP . Poor guys teacher was not just gay, he was explicitly gay.

Spammed this song shortly after it was released in 2005 when me and my ex split, absolutely amazing cover.

First song i had ever heard by Pantera, if it werent for this masterpeice i wouldnt have immediately researched and been into alot of bands i'm into now, groove metal is the ultimate win in my book.

Well what can i say, this is the first song i had ever heard by Nightwish, must have been about 14 years old... one of a few tunes which made me see beyond new metal and typical music.
