Sadly I don't know what's the instrument/sound is called. It reminds me of 8 bit music, but sounds slightly different.

Could you recommend any similar music? (At least in what direction should I look?)

It's just a synthesized keyboard. It's everywhere in the 80s, though you'd be disappointed, and it'll sound different and a popular when paired with sick slap bass.
