What positions you think we need to strenghthen jan?

I would like us to buy a natural right winger, instead of henderson, cos hes a central mid and has huge potential there, no point wasting him on the wing. Also Kuyt is a striker, not a winger. I hope that Kenny doesnt try to sign someone like Jarvis cos he's English, cos there are more talented players available for a cheaper price.

We are in desperate need for another striker, Carroll is obviously struggling atm, and we can't rely on him to be the man to turn to if Suarez isn't scoring, we need him to be a part of a strike force, which outside of those 2 we don't really have atm.

A striker would be nice, maybe another winger.

Yeh, we are crying for a player who is always in or around the box. Suarez is a type of player who drifts around the pitch, and if there was someone (a poacher) who would be able to always link up with him when he's in the box, then I can see use scoring loads/

Hendo needs to be in the CM if Adam isn't up to scratch, totally wasted on the wing. Maxi should get a run out, him and Luis seemed to have a great understanding towards the end of last season & Bellamy should be in the first team for every match, the lad is quality.

I honestly think Hendo should be in middle, Downing on right and Charlie on left.

Downing clashes with Enrique (Enrique is better at crossing)
Hendo is lost on the right
Adam, while good, is better at crossing which is not really the role of a central midfielder

Downing will compliment Glen Johnson yet may clash with Kelly when he comes of age.
Hendo will be ABAP when placed in the role - he can be as good as Gerrard was.
Adam and Enrique on the left will be a force and Suarez can move closer to the center for impact. Carroll can benefit from both of them.

I really want to see a 433/442 with an attacking midfielder behind strikers. Gerard behind Suarez/Carroll will be a force.

Do not trust this traditional 442 with wingers from Dalglish, I trust Rafa's lack of focus on the wings more than this.

First of all, if we play Downing, we should play him on the left, as he is much better on the left wing than he is on the right, however I do think, like you said, he clashes with Enrique, and tends to get under his feet a little. I would however still keep him on the left wing, as it's where he plays better, and because of the fact that you want to put Adam on the left wing.

No way in Europe would I play Adam as a winger. He has the crossing ability yes, however I do thing that he is not agile enough, and no way a winger.

I would prefer us to play a 4-3-3 at the moment, with Lucas Gerrard and Henderson/Adam as 3 Central midfielders, with Gerrard and Henderson with the potential to move on to the flanks during times of the game. Lucas should start every game, he provides security to the defense. Gerrard would play the behind the striker role, however he could easily change positions throughthought the game. Alex Ferguson said that Barca play a carousel of formations, interchanging throughthough the game, we should do this. Our players certainly have the versitility.

Up front I'd Have Bellamy - Carroll - Suarez , with Carroll playing in the obvious central role, with Bellamy and Suarez swapping positions throughthought the match, and where both have the potential to go on the wing during the game. Bellamy and Suarez should have a free role, where they can roam around the pitch, and create havoc.

Hendo has the potential to be a great player, however he wont fulfill his potential if we play him on the right wing, in my honest opinion. Shelvey, in my opinion, shouldn't have gone on loan, and I think we should of kept him instead of buying Adam. Perhaps he would not, at the moment be as good as Adam, but potentially he can far surpass Adam in quality. He's been doing excellently at Blackpool.

Maxi has been a under-used recourse in my opinion, in particular when we are playing games, where we are desperate for goals. He has the uncanny ability of scoring crucial goals.

I think the 442 from Kenny isn't as affective these days as they were years ago. 442 has became a outdated formation, and more modern formations are now used.

On the subject of Barca's changing formations; can we do the same? Can we play strikerless football with Suarez acting like a Messi character? Think about it, and I'm not saying a 451. I'm literally saying 460 with players like Kuyt, Suarez and Gerard going forward when we feel like.

I've always been partial to the Hungary of the old style.

Don't think we have the quality of players for that just yet, but it is a realistic aim cos we're certainly capable of making it there, we already have a good foundation.

It isn't about quality really, it is about versatility.

Barca only play like that because Messi is that good and the strikers play midfield roles when he is playing.
