Getcha' Pull, (One year on...)

Postby James » Thu Dec 08, 05 2:22 am

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of Metal's greatest loss; the passing of Darrell Lance Abbott... known to most as "Dimebag".

For those that dont know, in short; Dimebag was shot on stage whilst playing with his band Damage Plan. He was killed by an angry Pantera "fan", because they had split up.

I love the dude, but feel like a poser for not even seeing him, ever...
I'm not the biggest fan too...
Bah bah bah BUT, despite what happens I refuse to be sad about it, be fucking proud even if he died, he fucking rules and still does in death.

Godamn fucking yes he was gifted, even Mr. T respects Dimebag.

Yeh its a bit irrational to call it metal's biggest loss as there have been thousands of events which have changed the genre of music. This was just so famous because of the way it happened. Dimebag was good though.

What the...just tremandously fast?! o_0
Play Cementary Gates, NOW.

He is seriously the greatest loss, he was such a inspiration, inside and outside of the music.
I am dead.

I seriously beg to differ, he was the best shredder by far, and the most inpsirational character on the metal scene.

The bassist's (iirc) death pretty much killed the band, the whole community were sad, but he didn't cause as much as a effect to the genre as Dimebag did.
