personally i like listening to soundtracks from movies and stuff with my favourite ones being: The Matrix, 2 Fast 2 Furious and XXX

Mike Oldfield (most of his works), Enigma, Alex Brandon (yea, Deus Ex Lead Musiciant), Vangelis (some works), Enya (especially, Lothorien and other). Sting (sometimes).
But Mike Oldfield and Alex Brandon are the best by my opinion. By the way, you can download few of his music on planetdeusex.ru by this link http://www.planetdeusex.ru/download/music/ His music has prefix ospf_.

I listen mostly DX music. But In my playlist also music from Unreal Tournament(First, in UT2003 music very bad). And I listen Rammstein(My nick was transformed, but originally it was from one song by Rammstein).

Mainly rock music, like Linkin Park, abit of this and that kinda rock music is pretty much me. Metallica, System of a down, Smashing Pumpkins etc.. Techno gets me moving quite often. So abit of Master of balance, Chemical Brothers, Darude never hurts. Oh and who could forget Dream Theatre!

i like heavy, death, speed, xtreme death, nu, goth metal. erm... sum rock like old metallica(new metallica is better though) but best band of mine is KoRn- they fucking rule

I like stuff like Linkin Park, some soundtracks are good (like LotR and so on..)

What I like most is Final Fantasy music, I absolutely *love* Nobuo Uematsu! He is a genius hehe..

I also like Utada Hikaru, Yoko Kanno, Origa, Maaya Sakamoto and loadsa others...

I love hip-hop too its great

) and the rest are newish

your alllllllllllllll wrong, sca is the only way to live!!! sca and new metal!!! but i do like some heavy stuff... not so much slipknot, but i like korn which i 1st heard when i was like 4, from my brothers friend lol, i like some light stuff as well but not so much.... i love old rock like pink floyd and black sabath, they rule! :twisted:

First of, they all are not all english, there are lots of people from many other countries chatting here. And i think, most of people here know only one thing related to Russian music: tatu (i think, we both don't like them :twisted:

). Advanced people may know Alsou also (or whatever she is called).
I think, that mostly, russian music suck (sorry, for bit un-patriotically, but i can't ran away from truth).
I still don't see something to hear for soul, something phylosophically, not that, rap or metal (owww :evil:

), pops.
Maybe my reaction is caused of thing, that i understand every word in our music (of course) and I don't like it's meaning, words, while i like French musiciants only because i like french as language... (and i don't understand something).

Anyway, I like some good rap(coolio, public enemy), metal(Dimmu Borgir, mettalica), old rock(Queen) and Gothic(Evanesance mostly).
