Why do you listen to the music you do? What does it do for ya?

State ya musical orientation and why you like it.

Trance music - because of the feeling it gives me. In a club, the DJ drops a quality trance song, combined with the laser lighting, the atmosphere, the amazing sound system, the effects...all these things give me goosebumps and make the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

It gives me a pumping body rush which i find difficult to explain.

Brutal, Extreme Flagellation Death Metal - it makes me feel relaxed, updates and strengthens my emotions, whether pissed or happy. It's also good to listen to, whatever your feeling, turn on some Disgorge and feel better. Or worse. Whatever the inspiration.

My musical orientation? :-s

I listen to what I like... that covers everything from metal to opera, and everything in between. :/

At the moment I am a plain fan of just rock!

Ranging from the likes from The Who, to Rush, to Tool, to Coheed and Cambria!

Positive ftw!
I am dead.

Techno is such a broad area of music. Trance is a sub-genre of techno i guess so yea it could be. ALl depends on the style of the remix......

If you consider a song that is suppose to be a tear jerker being turned into a hyper-active jump up and down song, your half way there.

Now think of it in Japanese. >.>
(I'm a fan of Darude[sp?], and Daft Punk, which is a little more 'main stream' I suppose.)

Haha, more to the point. What the hell are you doing up so early if you was out on the piss last night?

Darkknight, that won't be trance then. Not the good stuff anyway, just the cheesey, commercial crap that gets churned out far too often. Darude brought one good song out ages ago "Sandstorm" but other than that he's shit imo.

Lol, a certain someone called me up at like 10:45am to make sure I was awake, also everyone in my house was making tons of noise at 9am this morning :'(

I quite like Darude, the music is cool.

I don't really have one specific taste in music, it all depends on my mood, if I feel down I want to listen to instrumental or just emotional music such as Sia - Breathe me :) But then again I love J-pop, I love hip-hop, I like indie and pop, I love dance and Ministry of Sound, soundtrack music is always cool, but I'm not a huge fan of much else.

I enjoy the backing music to death metal, but I despise the vocal work, it's just growling and constant shouting, it lets it down for me.

I mostly listen to Metal (or at least what I consider Metal), Progressive rock, industrial, j-Pop, some I-Dance and le classic rock.

The only Trance i listen to would be the odd Infected Mushroom song from time to time.

Melodic death metal is lighter, try that if you can't handle the awesome DM vocals 8)
