A movie that I saw on commercial one night, one mention of the word Antichrist made me look for it on WikiPedia. Apparently, it's a remake of the 1976 horror film, and is expected to be released in 6/6/06...

The plot is, some guy named Damien who's the messenger of the Antichrist brings an apocalypse upon the world.

It will not be as good as the 1976 version, remakes never are (cept epics such as Kong due to new technology, but for horrors its different).

But for a film like The Omen, it should be rated R for Retarded. *GTA*
And no thats not a dig at the film btw, just saying that it should be rated the highest rating out there. When your doing a remake of a classic horror like that then you should stay true to the orginal & try add kool little touches instead of watering it down just to get more people in to see it to make more $$$
Too many films are doing that, just look at AvP, fuckin hell Aliens & Predators shouldnt be suitable for 15 year olds. They're too badass.

Ohh yeah it looked kinda freakyish on the cinema trailer the other day. I still wanna see Silent Hill though!! : (

15cert doesn't really mean anything anymore, as most 15 year olds have seen sexual/violent material anyways, even the 12 cert doesn't count anymore as parents are allowed to bring under 12s to 12A films. :roll:

Yep, definitely. Certificates are coming down and down because its becoming more acceptable for teenagers to watch stuff like this. 30 years ago The Exorcist was banned. Now its not even considered scary.
