Deus Ex Alpha

Has anyone known about this? Columbia Pictures are buying the rights to make Deus Ex into a movie! Just like Tomb Raider. It seems too good to be true so I'll try and find new information before jumping to conclusions.

Ahh they shouldn't be doing this shit. All we need is some prick making a film, then some retard making a DX3 which is ultra shit and be made by EA and it will have gangs and customizable cars an shit yo.

This was first mentioned on the forum back when this forum was first built. It then went into 'unknown' status, which generally means not gunna happen. I doubt its gunna happen 3 years later to be honest.

The style of it is too similar to the Matrix, so even if it were a good movie it wouldn't get the credit it deserves, because it will be seen as a Matrix clone by the masses who really have no idea what the plot is. That is why it will probably never be made.

Personally, I think if DX was to be made into a movie, it would have to be done so with our full, paid, assistance.

That would be so cool. I can just imagine the director posting in here asking for assistance from us.

Who the fuck cares about who would be in this? They could get the best actors possible for it, but it would still suck balls if they got the wrong director. Personally, I feel that Luc Besson would be able to do this movie justice.
