Yet another dx problem...

While I realise I have had more than my fair share of topics in this forum, I will try and make this the last. Here is my problem, when I launch dx, the mouse goes all over the place, it wont stay in a still position, even when I don't move it. Also the lag for me in the game is really bad as well, and is unbearable, I would describe it as blurry kind of movement.
This is the same for mouse, and the only thing I can come up with for the reason for my difficulties is the fact I just installed ati radion x800, which came with my computer, and have recently installed it because fifa 2006 wouldn't work without it. I find it confusing that I didn't need the video driver before. Anyway is it my driver, and if so, why is it causing problems?

uninstall the driver thats what worked for me

There is a roll back feature...or try updating it...as avenger said uninstailling and then re-installing can work as well..I don't see why it sohuld lag if its a driver problem...does your mouse work normally? Maybe again you should look at you rendering device...maybe the change of graphics card has caused it to switch...
