Dumprep.exe

WTF it's been going for ages, it pops up whenever I start windows and it's so damn annoying... It came after I got that blue death thingy (two times already haha) and I can't get rid of it... Anyone has an idea?

It is the end program dialog thingy.

Dunno what you mean it "pops up", but it is the end program dialog.

With my PC, (windows XP Pro SP2), if a program stops responding, I get the end program thing. Sometimes that also stops responding itself, so I open processes tab of taskmgr, and end the dumprep process. Then the end program dialog goes, so therefore dumprep.exe is the end program program, and is nothing to worry about.

If it start with windows, goto start --> Run, and type msconfig. Goto startup pane, and uncheck dumprep.exe.

Also try something like CCleaner to sort ur registry out and delete any guff that may be causing problems.

Run->MsConfig->Remove and startup things you don't want/don't recognize. If they have the words XP,Server,System, etc in, then you should probs keep them.
