Left 4 Dead

So yeah, I have another cool issue.

I got Left 4 Dead today and when I load up a level the screen is black and I can see items etc.




I've tried changing the settings from high to low in the video section, the brightness is fine so I have no idea what's wrong >=[

I'm pretty sure my GFX card is updated so that's about it, anyone know the problem? Sorry I'm kinda vague

Oh and this image is green because it's green when my settings are high and black when they're low.

Play around with screen resolution or set the game to windowed mode.

DirectX 8 card?

Nah I got an 8800GTS with DirectX 10 I think? o_O Vista or whatever.

Ye I've checked the forum, I'm gonna download DirectX 9 to see what happens <_>

Oh and the weird thing is that I torrented L4D in November or something when it came out, and it worked fine on my PC, but I had XP back then, now I have Vista so maybe it's something to do with that, I might just install XP again


Edit: Never mind, I got it working I defragmented it or whatever, cleared local data and activated some console thing in the options menu.
