LOL, man, have you ever heard about word GPF? GPF means General Protection Fault and it is usual for games based on Unreal engine. Unreal is cool, but GPF is one of it's minus.
I can advice you only few things (in UeD):
1) to make file backups with different name (differs from original one)
2) to make saves every 5-10 minutes
In DX it's not possible to stop GPF. It appears suddenly and in moment when you don't expect it (like death)

You must back-up all files you're working with. Maps/packages and etc.

done but Unrealed1 is not working still...its harder to make a pawn etc on Unrealed2 thats why i need Unred1 to work so i can finsh my map.

After formatin my P.C i put most of my stuff on 10 cds...5 for DX...looks like the files for both UnrealEDs were corupted...I tried to finsh SamaDIE and when i installed and loaded it onto UED2...it had 3 mistakes...first...it had view ports which I cannot replace...second it fixed but left high GPF every 30 secs...third I got tired and tried UED1 and I need Dae's Editor files again for it to work...

OMG i am pissed because i wanted a map finshed for Friday

i had the same problem....just make a backup of maps and mods you want to save...then uninstall all of the deus ex files and the sdk. then re-install but instead of playing deus ex, first download the sdk and install it. It seems to work for me.

I gave mapping a try once, got pretty far, then a gpf, i got pissed..

Reinstall everything, even entire DX. I had one serious problem on my SDK, turns out reinstalling was the key
