Spyware Doctor is the best Anti-Spyware software out there, Spybot Search and Destroy isn't too bad but it's free unlike Spyware Doc.

Dominater, get SpybotSD as well, it finds things ad-aware doesnt find. (though keep ad-aware, as it finds stuff SpybotSD doesn't find as well.)

And, DarKnightKilla13, although it could be a coincidence, ive tried spyware doctor and it didn't find stuff at all. Unlike Ad-Aware SE Personal and Spybot Search and Destroy.

Same - for me it didn't find stuff that Ad-Aware picked up on.

I haven't caught any spyware or virus for over than 2 years. Use Firefox, a decent firewall and don't lauch suspicious programs. You don't even need an antivirus.

My suggestion is, get a good antivirus and do not even touch a firewall, they're too perfidious :!:
PS: I didn't get a virus for about 3 years with my way :P

Ever since I got my own comp and my parents don't share the same comp with me anymore, I'm spyware/virus free, I guess that says enough about them. ¬_¬

Well, I guess it's not spyware then...

Only thing I could think of now is severe overheating... Download speedfan, it allows you to check the temperature of your computer parts.

http://www.zdnet.nl/downloads.cfm?id=40949

Although the page is in dutch, all you need to do is click on the link called:
installspeedfan418.exe give the next page some time to load up (can take up to 15 seconds) and you'll download the application. Should be easy from there, and post up a screenshot of the temperatures once you got it installed.

Well it is a bit on the high side. If you have an intel pentium, it will just underclock itself automatically, to avoid ending up as a burned processor (Though it will automatically shut down when it reaches a critical level). But underclocking obviously also lowers the performance, so you end up with less fps.

If your computer reaches a temperature like 55 degrees Celsius, when it's only on for like a few hours, you should try cleaning the fans of your processor and undust the rest inside of the computer case, if its full of dust.

If it still reaches those high temperatures after doing that, I'd recommend buying a casefan, as they're only like 14 euro and can lower the temperature a lot.

You think that's bad... Check out these temperatures I was (and still am) getting on my laptop... (Even after I cleaned out the heat vents...)

Temp1 is the CPU, Local Temp is around the vents, and the other one is inside the case.

This, surprisingly, is from a laptop...

I once reached above 100 degrees with my comp, i dunno why it didn't shut down, as 90 degrees is auto shutdown i believe.

After i cleaned the comp thoroughly though and bought a new fan for it, it keeps it at 60 most of the time, and jumps to 80 accompanied with a blue screen of death usually, once per week. I think something got damaged while it hit the 100, not allowing my comp to be used totally anymore xD

Anyways, that temperature is high yeah. >_< What processor you got in it?

After I read your post with the picture more thoroughly, i noticed your cpu is 'only' 64 degrees. That's probably the main reason why it won't shut down, as they shut down at 90 degrees Celsius, which I mentioned before, I believe.

Maybe your graphics card is the cause of the rest of the laptop getting so hot? Or... maybe one of the temperature sensors got fucked up, seeing as the top of the laptop would just be unpleasantly hot with those temperatures.
