Deus Ex Alpha

Alot of people have been complaining in gods kitchen server in dx that i warp too much and i'm unable to hit. I don't know why, as i set netspeed to 20000 as some people have suggested.
Does anyone have an suggestions?

Set your netspeed to something as close as possible to your real connection speed. I dont think having higher value makes you warp though, I do know that in those new servers having your connection on default 56k or similar will fuck the game up for you. Possibly something to do with tick-rate.
Also check your ping, and for any packet loss.

All I can think of.

If your connection can't handle netspeed 20000 you're bound to get packetloss and eventually warp around.

Lol, people always say I "Warp" or "Lag jump" and crap. I do, but that's not the point. I expect it's because I play in Window (Alt+F4) Mode. It doesn't give me any advantage though, as I just jump back abit every little while, more of an inconvenience for me than anything. My ping is usually the lowest in the server though, so that's ok.

Its usually just annoying as hell, no matter if its an advantage or not. That Akeylo is extreme case.. if you set him on fire his burning animation is always near him.

O_o. I rarely meet those that extreme "warp", mine is minor compared to theres. Only the lame people who have played for years and can kill you in one clip without reloading and using no meds etc, those kinds of people, are the ones who notice!

Lame? Alright.. you realize you could turn all existing maps upside down and add 1000 ping, and beginners would still not notice that anything is wrong. And experienced players are lame.

For your information warping players like Akeylo have huge advantage over beginners. Why? Akeylo shoots his whole clip at you in a split second, and only way you can hit him is by shooting where he is not.

Who's Akeylo? o_O

Some new guy, hes been playing actively few months.

I don't understand.. Why are we talking about maps and stuff?

"Warpers" are rare, and I just avoid them if they're on my server. I won't start swearing at them etc, like some people do.

Yeah when i asked him why hes teleporting around.
He says hes on comcast.. wtf is comcast.

He is easy to kill if you see him coming
But if he comes behind you, youre dead....
