dedecated not working

my Dedicated server dosent work
WHAT I THINK IS MEANT TO HAPPEN: is wen l click dedicated and click host it
is meant to give me a non visual screen play (like l am not in the game) and l
can host from there
WHAT HAPPENS: I click dedicated and click host then the game closes and
the game startes up again in another screen and gives me a visual screen
play (like l am in the game) and it looks like it is a single player map l am on
plz help..

quite a typical problem
first of all, your .ini is a bit fucked up

Maps[6]=DXMP_FunLine_UnlimitedParty-3
there's no DXMP_ in the name of the map file (it's just FunLine_UnlimitedParty-3), unless you renamed it

MapSizes[0]=(Medium)
MapSizes[1]=(Small)
MapSizes[2]=(medium)
MapSizes[3]=(Large)
MapSizes[4]=(X-Large)
The game wouldn't understand this anyway

obviously it needs a line-break:

Anyways.. here's a small off-dx-server-starter.
It's quite handy, if you want to start a server without starting DX or making a specialized server starter.
It might go around your problems with starting a dedicated server off of DX.
Extract the bat file into the system folder, and follow its instructions after executing it.

Frankly we shouldn't be helping {AW} seeing as they've edited BFP2 ABYSMALLY and claimed it as their own. If Nobody or Derek could post the sshot I sent them..

BFP2: Funline_BigFlyingParty_2, an [A] fun-map. Fight on the top, or jump goodness knows how far down into a pool of water.
Abysmal: Basically, a word for "Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY F**KING CRAP!!!!1one!1"
(Abysmally is used as an adverb, with BFP2 as the subject.)

- Press the printscreen button on your keyboard
- Open mspaint
- Press CTRL+V
- Save the image (AS JPEG!!)
- upload it here as attachment or upload it to something like imageshack and provide the link

Pics are in correct order
ok first pic looks all fine
then when l click ok it closes down
and strait away it starts up a new DX
and l have done a few pics of this you and so l have a inventory
and med bot is different.
