Odd, Might be drivers, or your graphics card is old. I used to get 120 FPS, but then my other graphics card died, and i only got 5 FPS on DX =/

In my DeusEx.ini changing "NumAASamples=0" to "NumAASamples=4" increased my FPS from less than 30 to more than 40. (using an 8yr old card, temporarily), thanks to Kaiden's KB.

Funny, I had 255 FPS in fights with my old card but when I put NumAntialiasingSamples to 4, it went down to 125. :S

You sure you didn't change anything else? Antialiasing (AA) Increases quality at the cost of performance, it's impossible that increasing the AA samples it would increase your fps, unless there's a severe bug in the renderer. =\
As for Nobody, do you have a dual core processor or something like that?

Yeh
Intel Core E6600
Odd is, that it's quite normal in fullscreen mode, but there I have a delay at rotation when moving the mouse.
That's why I prefer windowed mode, but there it's that fast. (at least there is no delay between mouse move and rotation)

I might be able to solve your problem then, DX fucks up for some with dual core and alike, come on msn for a possible fix

If you're using DX on dual core, try setting up Window 98 compatibility mode or something like that in options of .exe. It's a new solution which we found on our Russian forum.

Unfortunately, Clix solution did not work.
But as I said.. it's not fast in general.. just if I play in windowed mode.

Dae just means you try to use compatability mode, it's completely different than my thing

My fix just makes the game always run one one core, which voids any affinity problems, but yeah, in your case it wasn't that, so you could try dae's compatibility mode's thing.

Duel core is usualy to small cores combined usually, DX would probably run badly on just one?

Don't worry. In case of my Core E6600, already one core is 4 times faster than a common Pentium4 with 2.4GHz
