Zippy is fast, methinks.

Try fiddling with your mouse settings in Control Panel to get a more accurate setting. Though, if it's on sensetivity 1/2, you either are thrashing that mouse like God knows what, or have a mouse that's WAY too sensetive! :s

Speaking of mice, I just plugged me old wired ball mouse in, and it's piles better than my cheap-ass cordless optical mouse!

Not sure about you, but my control panel (bear in mind I play DX on win98) has 2 sliders for pointer speed (I have a generic logitech mouse and generic old logitech drivers).

Slier #1 is pointer speed.
Slider #2 is "pointer acceleration" or something.

In XP, I only get one slide (pointer speed), which is currently full up, and I play on sensitivity of 3.

So yeah - as Allan says, give your panels a good fiddling!!
