I'm not CERTAIN, but AFAIK people don't get banned from the masterserver..... LOL!

Just put it as your map music. and put it in the original maps and rename 'em.

I'll leave you to convert the mp3 files into umx files yourself, tho.

I sincerely fucking hope everyone downloads nephthys coz it's like 12Mb! and with Nephthys it'l take A LOT LESS TIME to download.

Yeah. I'm gonna host it now, see if it works properly.

Ppl won't be able to join unless thye have Nephthys, though, unless they fancy waiting for a 15Mb file to download at around 446Kbps (my upload speed).

If ya get Nephthys, it'll download rly fast, depending on ur net speed.

Not that anyone is ognna join lol.

Im trying to gte NEPTYS WEBSUPPort but it tis too hard to gte a hosting site , the one you had on the artical Kaiden , it takes ages to do the request , then it just disconnects for me , any of you know a diffrent good one thats quick to setup? Then I will have like Music Vote.

Sorry Kaiden I disagree.

The link in your tutorial is fatally flawed simply because they force advertisements for files over 500Kb. That is to say, if you copy and paste the file location into your web browser you get redirected to an advertisement page for the hosting company, and you cannot get the file directly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Nephthys web support requires direct links to files that can be downloaded without any user interaction.

A few restrictions are in place. If you're not happy with these, don't bother posting coz I can't make any exceptions!

1. No files over 34Mb in size.
2. I will only host DX-Related files (and I will check!)
3. Maximum of 100Mb per person (and I will check that, too!)

With Regards to mismatches, no, ppl won't mismatch if I change the original map names. Literally all ya gotta do is rename a map to solve mismatch problems. I actually have 3 cache folders. One for servers with old tnag and version1 of the cathedral map, one with new tnag and the other cathedral map, and one with no tnag and just the obscure versions of stuff some people use on servers I don't usually visit.

Aside from those, I'm happy to help people out. And yes, that includes {17} members. Lol.

I'm gonna be sub-letting some space (For free, of course) from some of my many hosting accounts.

I will also help out in setting up Nephthys web support for anyone. I'm doing it coz it makes life a shitload easier for me and my puny little server. The more ppl using Npt client, the more ppl will bother to install it on their server, the more servers with no download lag!
