Did you install a Deus Ex render, or Unreal one?

Your dx.ini says that Glide is set as ur rendering device.... That could be why!

That definitely is the DX renderer. Here's the page it's from:
http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/
Copy the files into ur dx/system folder, start the game in safe mode and change the driver to "OpenGL" (you imte have to clikc "show all devices").
Then post back here. If it doesn't work I'll have another think.
PS: Your card is fine, mine is even older.

Let's see, OpenGL has a known error that the brightness is way too low on some computers. Try the following: start DX, then when it's gone to fullscreenmode:
press your talk button (default = t)
Hold down backspace for a while
then type in: brightness
and press enter
Do that a couple of times and see if you can see anything on the screen meanwhile.

Use OpenGL instead of D3D which is 'beta'

Check again, Dae, only some of the OpenGL versions are betas.
I think most players will tell ya that OpenGL gives better performance than D3D. Besides, I don't know of anybody who has had problems with the OpenGL renderers on Nvidia cards.
To hey: You could try the beta OpenGL renderers, but I reckon the dxglr 1.8 renderer works fine for most ppl. The 1.6 one gave me a problem where if I was at any height (e.g. walking along the walkways in Silo) I'd get black sections, almost as if there were giant BSP holes. But as I said, 1.8 really should work fine on your 5200 card.
