You need to put its ServerPackages/ServerActors, can't remember which, and you put it at the top of the whole list of actors and packages.

TO be fair Alex, most people (including me) use the Archives to download files. It's rather annoying that we have to refer to the MM pages to get info, when it would be more logical to include a simple tct file in the zip archive.

Try here for info: http://www.dxalpha.co.uk/projects/mm/usercontrol

Hope that helps. Well, it WILL help.

you aren't most people and the statistics say that the site is many times more popular than the download archive.

Indeed, how busy is the KB Dae? :O

The Downloads Archive is just for finding old or unpopular stuff, like MTL AutoInstaller is the only thing I get from there.

http://www.dxalpha.co.uk/projects/mm/usercontrol is easier than going to http://www.download.dxalpha.co.uk/index ... utators%2F

AND the site is layed out a lot nicer, you can only acomplish so much with an archieve.

But the archive has much more than the site. Also, last time I checked, just under half of the MM links on the MM page were broken, and you could only get 'em from the archives.

It's annoying coz you'd expect an archive to have everything, including the latest versions. I download and use stuff, goto the forum for support and then get told the new version was "on the forum" or something. You goto forums to discuss, sites to browse/download, and archives to download everything from a nice, convenient interface.

And from what I can see the site doesn't get updated much, apart from the main page.

EDIT: Also, I use the same archive script on my site, why can't you just edit it to use SEO-friendly URL's? Besides - if you reckon the URL is "harder" to get to.... well, there's always bookmarks.

The site it updated when needed, I update mods when I can with the latest versions, the latest MM releases are added, the news column is kept updated, etc.

Double post but update:

Fine, I just went through every page at www.dxalpha.co.uk, all of it's links (Downloads, projects, challenge us, etc). Every link that is in every topic, including every KB guide for errors.

Fine I found a few yes, thanks for letting me know, but nothing that would affect you to much, the worst was [A]Weapons link not working, and Telnet link guide not working, most stuff was just like a link didn't work in a guide somewhere.

90% of which have been fixed now, need to speak to Dae about 2-3 of them.

Cool. Sorry to be a whiner, but more linky is good linky.

And stuff.
