i just kinda reboted my pc then i changed my account's name. so after that, when ever i go to my other files. it says Acsses Denied. also it says Please check that the disk is fully write protected or something. soo how can i remove this right protected thing? and the main problem is when i play DX and connect to any server like [A] Rpg server i cant download stuff it says " Error Cant Download "map or mod name" (something like dat) " This is becoz of the Acess Denied Thingy i can only come to those server which have mine dx mods,maps so any one knows how to fix this?

Click this: Start > Run

type: control userpasswords2

Find your account, And select it then hit properties.

Select administrator, Then try

i done this way too before, Same... and yeah my SDK dont works too :/ when ever i press the rebuild button it crashes :s. it says some OCX files are missin :s

DJ, it's complicated but possible to gain ownership of your files.

You need to log in using you OS's administrator account, navigate to your old user account's documents folder, right click, click properties, goto sharing and ownership etc, then set your current username as owner.

Too complicated, can't be bothered to explain it. Also, if you don't have XP pro, you're royally fucked.

Time for a reinstall!

the thing is that IT happens to the "ADMINISTRATOR" account too and this is my style, i lub to say liek tis.
