Deus Ex Alpha

i have used this command before but now when i try to use it it goes back to the original map and everyone's names are reset to "player"

also, how do i instal mapvote100. it says in the notepad:

Install:

1. Copy DXMapVote100.u and DXMapVote100.int to the DeusEx\System folder.

2. Open DeusEx.ini and find the [DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine] section.
Add this line to the end of that section:
ServerPackages=DXMapVote100

3. Select the DXMapVote mutator from the mutator list. If you are hosting a
dedicated server, then the startup line should look like this:
<map_name>?Game=<game_type>?Mutator=DXMapVote100.MVMutator?-server?log=server.log


but.. there is also a folder called dxmapvote100 and it has a foldeer caled classes in it. where does this go?

first things first

do u hav the latest DXMP patch?

also get MTL if u dont

2 move map

simply login as admin and type

admin servertravel DXMP_Smuggler (or the name of a map)

make sure the map u wanna travel to is inculded in ur DeusEx.ini file, which is in ur system folder

about mapvote
do exactly what it tells u to.... ..... .....

• move the 2 files DXMapVote100.u and DXMapVote100.int from the Zip folder into the System folder
• open the DeusEx.ini file, which is found in the system fodler
  look for a section called [DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine]
  at the bottom of this section, copy and paste the line
  ServerPackages=DXMapVote100
• the other thing is editing the mapvote mutator itself.... u can change it so it locates maps from ur map folder, or from ur dx.ini

I thought you got this working, remember when I set it up for you?

This is how I use it Admin ServerTravel DXMP_Smuggler. But if that doesnt work there is another way if you have mutaters map vote then you go mutate mapvote click on the map you want and there is a button on mutate mapvote and click that and your there but if that doesnt work i don't know what to tell you. .

Lol, i have a question too, where do you get the mapvote anyways?
I had it from an e-amil from someone on my old comp, and I switched to
my new comp i got a while ago and i lost the file due to my old comp breakdowns. plz guys it would be helpfull if i could have a direct file ty

I was in ur server earlier and I had a bad ping all the time. Why do u even bother to host?

I Know it seems bad at the moment, but i'm doing all this now as i'm getting a T-1 Connection for around 500kbps. Just to Clarify things
