Deus Ex Alpha

I have a pretty good computer. Like i can run Call of duty 4 with all settings on High and get a fps of around 100 - 300 But in deus ex im only getting 40 fps. i used to get (since its a old ass game) around 300 fps and being the spoiled fps bitch i am i want more fps and i was wondering why im not getting as much fps as i used to. Should i reinstall? I tried different servers. All the same. Tried all the different resolutions detail levels and all that. Tried Direct Ex 3D, and Open GL. And full screen and windowed. About to give up. So pretty much in a summery i want to know if there is a cap limit of FPS and a code or if i edit my .ini that i can change it if there is one and if theres anything i can do to fix it. Main question, do you have Vista? And do you have Duel Core(Or more)? If either/both of these are correct, follow this guide:

Yes i did both of those. Still caping at 45 fps and i have Vista and Duel Core

Make your damn sig smaller.

Set your connection setting to something higher than "Modem" (Multiplayer > Player Settings window).

Yeah. The connection thing works. Must have never rechanged it since i reinstalled. Supid cap limit. Oh well im gettin 300 again so thanks.

Reduce your sig in size then
